*drumroll*
Kublai Khan Mongolian BBQ Restaurant.
It was one of our "let's try out somewhere new" date with the colleagues. I came across this restaurant while googgling for one. Neither one of us has ever heard of it before, plus, promotional price entitlement for some credit card. Thus, Why not? Even say if the food is not up to expectations, no damage done, trying.
I made a reservation a day prior e dinner.
It was located @ Park Mall, level 4.
On the 21st evening, our entry wasn't being greeted by anyone, and so forth, we proceed towards the hostess. Apparently, she was busy with some stuffs. We apologised for having to interrupt her for a minute. She stopped, "stamped" her pen down before glaring at us. Okay, fine. Acceptable. I will be quite unhappy too for the "barged-in". She then requested instructed us to wait for a few minutes before checking on our seat allocations.
Few seconds later, came back to us, pouring out her words fast and inarticulate. We could hardly make out what she said, but it sounded something like our table is not ready yet but we can help ourselves with the foods while her collegue prepare the table for us. That's absolutely fine with us despite it being unreasonable (for god sake, I called in earlier. Doesn't tht gave them ample time to prepare our table? The place wasnt even pack!) but it's not a big deal. We tend to overlook on some matters at times, too. We took it as a small glitch. However, the way she delivered those words were harsh. For all that, we remained cool, still.
We followed her to our designated area. What greeted us next, was an unpleasant smell. In fact e entire restaurant stenched of that. Still and all, we shrugged that off. What happened next was unacceptable. I repeat, offensive. We asked for a change of table. This another waitress, obviously displeased with our request, looked around before telling us off rudely, "Only once! After this cannot change already." We were in complete disbelieve. ATROCIOUS!
Michelle, sensing my anger, quickly suggested that we dine in somewhere else which was the most brilliant idea, ever.
With that, we stepped out of that god damn restaurant, never turning back.
Dear Owner/Manager of the above mentioned restaurant, U have just lost, not only, 6 food lovers, but countless more, just because of your barbaric girls. Have U forgotten that words of mouth travel faster than lightning?
Good luck to your future success endeavor. Should you want to prosper, we suggest you start searching for service-oriented and polite personnels.
Thank You, very nice.
