My Heartfelt Words ♥

The only people U need in Ur life are the ones that prove they need you in theirs.

There's mistakes I've made; Chances I've thrown away; Some roads I should've never taken.
There's been signs I didn't see; But it doesn't matter.
When life gets harder it makes me that much stronger; Some pages turned, Some bridges burned
But all lesson learned!

Cameron Highland. One of Malaysia's wonders. Largest and most famous hill resort in the country.

A place I have always wanted to visit. This place resembles serenity, if U ask me. Exactly where I need to be.. :)) What I like most about Cameron is that this highland paradise still retain much of the charm of English Village. I've missed Prague, hence Cameron Highland is a nearer & cheaper option. :)

I have waited patiently for this very day to come. Bought this short getaway package online via www.alldeals.asia.com. [Check out my earlier post in May.] It was a collaboration with Five Stars Travel. After a couple of hiccups on dates, we manage to secure one. Our main intention was to celebrate my birthday here, but too bad, rooms was fully occupied, that's what they said. *bingit*

Journey from Sg to C.H which is located in Pahang was approximately 9 hours. We left Golden Mile at 10.30pm. [We had a rollercoaster ride back home from USS to Pasir Ris. Imagine with only 1 hour to get ready and us being us, with the sure unexpected last minute items we forget to pack. *STRESS* I am proud to say, I managed to washe up, got ready and even manage to whip up some french toast for us somemore! (Konon takut kebulur, but e Husb tak makan pun. Cheeeyyy!) Nubbad ritteeee?? =D] During the 9 hours coach ride, we had 1 makan pitstop @ YongPeng [Oh how I dunch like the foods over there! Will photoblog. Scroll down to know why. But surprisingly, the toilet was decent enough. *Alhamdulillah* Nak buat business pun senang. Tekak tak loya.] with a couple of toilet & ciggie break. I managed to get a couple of hours sleep during the journey.

Check out our "kopet" faces.
Time check : 2.20am
Found Cadbury fingers chocolate! I super LOVE this junkie. In fact I bought a few for stock up.  Have not manage to find those in SG. Any idea where I can get hold of it???
Ok, remember I was telling U about the nugget? It's already stale. I took 1 bite and cough it out the next second. =.= What rotten luck!

The journey up the hill towards the tip of the highland was veerrryyyy steep! It's jerky and all. And that moment onwards, I was very much awake. Scary I should say. Worse than Genting Highland. I wouldn't dare drive up there, I tell U. Mati balik hidup pun takmau. I mean being the main driver don't want. Just be co-pilot as I sit, munch & shriek, want. Ehehehhe.

Up and up we go... The first town we passed by was Ringlet. It was very dark. I can only read out the signs but not the surroundings. Next town was the Tanah Rata. It was about 20 minutes away from Ringlet. Quite far apart eh?? And finally Brinchang where we were told to get our breakfast. Brinchang and Tanah Rata was not that far. Only 10 minutes drive up/down.

The moment we got off from the bus, we shivered! It was cold! Being about 1500m above sea level, it is no surprise. We came prepared. :D

*WELCOME TO CAMERON HIGHLANDS*
There's KFC! But nah, we are giving KFC a miss. What we wanna tried out is Mehsia's roti canai & teh tarik! =D
We were given one hour to get our breakfast. So we started of with checking out the surrounding. Took some peektures. After which we hunt for breakfast. Most of the eatery place are open. We chose one of the kopitiam restaurant because they loudhailed the "doa2 Quran". Being a Malaysian country, the other races were not even affected by it. They respected it. Unlike Singaporeans. Complain netizens. :S if U noticed the next following photos, U noticed that majority of the patrons were Chinese. And they don't mind the loud prayers at all.

We went back to our coach, expecting them to bring us to our respective hotels. Little did we expect someone by the name of Kumar from Titiwangsa travel agency to self intro himself trying to get our coach group to take up his different kinds tours. Very smart eh! Got motive one the breakfast stopover. After further discussion and much thoughts, we both made up our mind to wander on our own.

The talk lasted around fortyfive minutes *yawns* before we were being transported to our hotel, the Equatorial Hotel.

We set foot in the hotel about 9.45am. For the price that we paid, it was way beyond our expectations. We thought it would be a rundown hotel. Sure we have googled it before hand, but pictures can be deceiving, u'knw. Not only is the hotel is situated at the highest accessible point of the highland it is a Tudor styled resort like the one below.

Upon checking in, we were told, rooms were still unavailable and will notify us once our room is ready. Not wanting to waste any more time, Mr Y, my smart husband, asked the Receptionist if there is any place we could at least shower and changed. So clever ahh U, Sayang! Or we will end up wondering around "kopet"! HAHAH! As for our luggage, U've guessed it right. Dumped it to the bellboy. Habis cerita. Easy right. No need to terkedek2 with cargo.

Right away, after getting 2 towels from the concierge, we head straight to the pool area. I'm sure no t many have thought of this before. So, there goes. Another alternative. Instead of sulking and being mad with the hotel staffs, do this instead. Problems solved!

Alrighty, we need to change and transform for now...
See you in my next post, yeah.

Stay Tune..

After much procrastination, I've have got no choice but to upload my photos in their respective categorized albums on FaceBook, one at a time. Photos as well as blog post waiting to be uploaded are already piling! Worst still, I've promised a couple of people! I better do it NOW!

First one up, which was supposed to be done on 23/07/2011 was my trip with beloved Husband & Sister, M.J. to the U.S.S.

I am a fan of theme parks. It's a place where I can let out the little girl in me without looking like a maniac. The only place I can run about, scream and laugh out loud rolling on the floor without having to be conscious of how I look or what people might think of me.

So when I learnt that Singapore will have our very own theme park, I was thrilled. Heart pumping with excitement. But being one of the few early birds to visit USS, has never been my number 1 intention. Maybe simply because I have been to theme parks in 2 of my holiday destination in last last 2 years. One in Genting Highlands and another one in Bangkok. Dreamworld. Once a year is a little bit too much and if one keeps going, the level of excitement is different, no? Another contributing factor of me not visiting USS earlier were due to the dollars and cents. The amount that is being charged is exorbitant in my opinion. What is the point of paying so much when you know, especially in the first few months, not all rides are open to public due to their safety default. 8-!

My wait seemed to prove worthwhile. I only paid half of weekday's. I know of some people getting FOC ticket. Thirty bucks is deemed acceptable, by me. Only downside was the overwhelming crowd. Due to...
1) CPF Family Day
2) Weekend : 23/07/2011

Waiting time for most rides are about one effing hours! We skipped some rides. If not for a fact that me and my Mr Y had to leave for Cameron Highland that very night, we would have patiently waited for each and every ride! But oh well, there is always a next time. This time, I will go ONLY if admission is F.O.C. =P

Overall, I have to say I love e Hollywood apart from of course the Far Far Away theme. :)

We took gazzilion of photos. We had a rolling good time!

For a detailed post on our trip, do drop by my little Sis's bloggie : www.dazzexplosion.blogspot.com

The above 2 links summed everything all up.

Before I log out, here's something for you guys, my lovely blog readers, to laugh about. The day I humiliated myself in front of a whole lot of strangers. I seriously do not realize that I stood out in public. But now, I do. I have to admit I am noticeable. No, I am not bragging. I don't know if this is good or bad. Personally I say, it's bad. Unless I super LOVE attention, that's it. This happened numerous times already. Of all the crowd in the entire world, I am being picked, of course alongside with another couple of lucky people (to my relief!), to do ridiculous things!

My first experience was Honey's company D&D. I was picked by Flying Dutchman to compete against 2 other people for beautiful eye contest. !!! I don't even belong to that organization. It's unfair to pick me, right? But oh well, what does FD knows. Can't blame him. Was required to do some "sexy" stuffs with just my eyes. Ahaaa~ The art of seduction... LOL!

Second time was also Honey's company function. Hari Raya event. We were seated at the back, and STILL, I of all  people got called up. I was at the side, just Yus & me. It's not an obvious spot, mind U. I suspect the Kakak who picked me has been eyeing me and on purpose have the ill intention of sabotaging me! In this segment, Yus was being dragged too. HAHAHA! We had to bollydance! Thank God I was not alone!

Next one, was at Resort World too. It's a Muay Thai open event. For this, I regretted standing in the front row. Mr Y lah! It was the period he's into this kinda thing, and he voluntereed to participate in the contest "who can side kicked the most." He lost to a 9 year old kid. Booo ya!!! And right after his participation, they were looking for grid girls. This I havto blame no one but myself for being @ a "spottable & draggable" location! This time, not so bad. All I have to do was sashaying around the compound with the "wrestling belt" in the air.

And now, THIS!!! Arrggghhhh..... In every single scenerios, my heart thumped with FEAR and I wish I was invisible instead of noticeable. Enjoy laughing ur ass off while I make myself "perish"!

OHKAYYYYY!!! Video Quality is bad. Sound iss terrible. Lemme try to work on this, and if it is meant to be shared, I will post it. Heheheh... Sorry, it really wasnt intentional. I really wanted to share. ;D

R signing off...
